EY Announces the Six Accelerating Entrepreneurs for 2015

Last month, EY announced the 2015 inaugural class of North American Accelerating Entrepreneurs, a program designed to help entrepreneurs scale up their business through one-to-one guidance, networking and insight sharing.
Marcell Haywood, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Encompass Onsite, was one of only six Accelerating Entrepreneur candidates selected throughout North America. He attended an invitation-only EY Strategic Growth Forum from November 11th to 15th in Palm Springs, CA, where he met with a special team of industry leaders and high level entrepreneurs.

While attending University in 2004, Haywood founded Encompass Onsite as an enterprise aiming to improve both the employee and customer experience within the often-maligned facility maintenance industry. The six winners were selected from a large pool of impressive entrepreneurs from the US and Canada. Growth coaches, who will now serve as mentors, scored and selected the winners based on company strategy, personal philosophies and additional criteria including the age of the business, revenue, entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and innovation.

The program, which previously has been conducted at the global level, launched in the Americas this spring with nominations throughout the US and Canada. As part of EY’s ongoing commitment to high level entrepreneurship, award winners will be given one-to-one guidance and exposure to insight sharing, and will receive access to EY’s extensive global networks. The entrepreneurs selected to participate are founders and CEOs of companies primed to scale their businesses.
